About me
About me
I am a third year PhD student in pure mathematics at Durham University, supervised by Professors Dirk Schuetz and Andrew Lobb.
My research falls into 'low-dimensional topology'. In particular, the kind of maths I find interesting combines topology (usually in dimensions 3 and 4) with algebra and category theory. Usually this will involve many diagrams. You can find out more in the Mathematician tab.
Outside of my PhD, I conduct the Palatinate Ensemble, one of Durham's leading student orchestras. I also conduct the Durham Opera Ensemble. You can find out more by clicking on the links below. There is also a tab for my occasional quizzing activities at the top.
